Youth For African Renaissance (Y-FAR) – Thesis Proposal & Report Writing Workshop

Objective
The objective of this 15-days workshop is to support undergraduate students as they prepare their formal proposals for submitting graduation purpose. Presentations and hands-on activities are designed to help participants to think, read and write critically as they develop throughout the proposal content. During the workshop participant will share with life examples and conduct virtually/practical thesis proposal writing exercise into groups.
If you are intending to graduate undergraduate or registered postgraduate student refining your research proposal writing skills, then this workshop should benefit you.

Methodology:
Much emphasis will be put on the Practical skills. Plenary presentation & Group Work with the use of templates, and practical tools will be supplemented with Knowledge Transfer Activities that each participant will develop and implement in their work. After-Training, follow-up and remedial coaching will be offered to interested participants and organizations on request. Only a small number of participants will be admitted for the training to ensure quality, time utilization for each participant.

Audience:
The training is suitable for graduate and senior students of the universities, and individuals interested in working in the development sector.

Certification:
Participants will be issued a certification upon successful completion of the training

Application deadline: 23rd February, 2018. The Training days are 15 days, starting from 24th February up to 12th March, 2018. You can enroll afternoon classes or evening classes.
Fees
The course fee is USD 40 per participant. The fee is inclusive of tuition, training materials and certificate of participation and refreshment.
